Ambo
From the ambo, readings from the Bible – the Word of God – are proclaimed, interpreted in the homily, and applied to the present day. It is thus the second central place within the liturgy and is often called the “table of the word,” corresponding to the altar as the “table of the meal.” For this reason, ambo and altar match in material and design. The ambo was also created in 2013 by Tom Müllers from Swedish granite.
